Threshold respect.

Eva Leersnyder

In order to gain more respect and create more boundaries in your household, start allowing your dog to exit the crate, instead of them flying out of there the second you open the door.

Start with a command and then open the door. If they break the command and try to get out of the crate, shut the crate door quickly and put your dog back in command.

Repeat this step until you are able to successfully have the door open and your dog is still in command. Remember, repetition, repetition.

Be consistent and practice every time you let your dog out of the crate.
