Make bath time so much fun... and easier.

Eva Leersnyder

It can be hard bathing your dog at home - they can run or hide or be heavy to lift or not stay put...etc. Here is how to get your dog used to the bath without you having to so much as lift a finger.

  1. Use your dog's motivator and throw it in shower or bath while there is NO water in it. Do this a couple of times until they are able to get in without hesitation. I'd also recommend pairing the act with a word - like "bath" or "tub" or "shower".

  2. Next, take away the motivator and use the command. Hand signals are mighty helpful too.

  3. Once your dog is comfortable getting in the tub or shower, add your sit/stay/break.

  4. Next, just add water.
